Hinckley Choral Union
Site update 04/02/2019
Not only does the Choir produce four concerts each year, profits from which are donated to musical charities, it has a lively social calendar where members can get to know each other a little better.
Having undertaken a trip on the Cunard ship Queen Elizabeth last year, during which a performance was given on board, this year we have undertaken a trip to Warkworth Church in Northumberland over a long weekend in September.
We performed a concert in St Lawrence’s church in the town in aid of Church Funds as well as spending some time in Durham and the Beamish Open air Museum. Some 50 choir members and their partners took part. That part of the North east is steeped in history and fine views and the trip was thoroughly enjoyed as an opportunity to get to know each other better.
Our Summer 2019 trip will take us to Herefordshire and Shobden Church
